2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Your IP address and technical access data (browser type, operating system, referrer URL, date and time of access) are stored in server log files by Strato for security and operational purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 7 days.

This website sets the following cookies that are strictly necessary for operation:

4. User Accounts

Your account data is stored for as long as you maintain an account. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
5. Saved Recipes
If you save a recipe, we store a reference to that recipe against your user account in our database. This data is processed solely to provide the saved-recipes feature and is deleted when you remove a saved recipe or delete your account. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Community Recipes (Youcookada)
If you submit a recipe through the Youcookada community feature, the recipe content (title, ingredients, steps, images) and your display name are stored and may be published publicly on this website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You may request deletion of your submitted content at any time by contacting us.
7. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your e-mail address to send you the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter e-mail or by contacting us directly. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent. We do not share your e-mail address with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Fonts
This website uses the Space Grotesk typeface. The font files are self-hosted on our own server. No font data is loaded from Google or any other third party, and no IP address is transmitted to external services for font delivery.
